Dr. Terry Lake is the Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Hydropothecary. Prior to joining the company, Terry served as British Columbia’s Minister of Health and was at the forefront of the opioid epidemic. His ground breaking policy directives around harm reduction strategies such as overdose prevention sites, naloxone availability and expansion of opioid agonist treatments earned Terry the Canadian Public Health Association’s “Public Health Care Hero” award in 2017. Dr. Lake served as BC’;s Minister of the Environment from 2011-2013 and as MLA for Kamloops North Thompson from 2009-2017,. He is a former Mayor and Councillor of the City of Kamloops and practised veterinary medicine throughout British Columbia.
