CEO, Canadians for Fair Access to Medical Marijuana
James O’Hara is the President & CEO of Canadians for Fair Access to Medical Marijuana (CFAMM) which is a national medical cannabis advocacy group with a special focus on patient access.
James is a former bank Vice President and Senior Director who was significantly affected by Focal Awareness Seizures before turning to medical cannabis as a form of treatment. Having personally experienced tremendous success with this treatment option, he advocates for medical cannabis patients across the country and has represented the needs of Canadian medical cannabis patients to various government committees and the Senate of Canada.
He has appeared in various media including; The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, Readers Digest, CBC, CTV, CPAC, Primetime Politics, Quirks & Quarks, and many others. He is also a sitting member on the Canadian Aids Society cannabis advisory committee.
