Partner, Segal Immigration Law
Heather Segal is the founding partner of Segal Immigration Law with over twenty years of experience in immigration law. She practices exclusively in the area of Canadian immigration law and American Consular and Border immigration law. She works with large and small companies, medium size businesses, individuals and families.
Prior to opening her own firm, Heather was a partner at one of the “Big 4” Law Firms in Canada for 20 years. Heather earned her law degree from Queen’s University in 1994 and a Master of Laws in Immigration from the University of California, Berkeley – School of Law in 1996. Although she does not practise refugee law, in 1997, she participated in a Research Symposium at the Hague Academy of International Law, where she published her work, through The Hague, on “Environmental Refugees: Displacement Due to Environmental Degradation.”
