Benjamin Adams graduated with a degree in biology from the University of Oregon and studied sustainable agriculture at the University of California, Santa Cruz in a graduate program. He has spent over a decade in the agricultural industry including his time as an understudy of Pacific Northwest legends, nurseryman Vern Johnson and the late pomologist Roger Detering. This path parallels his work in the cannabis industry from cultivation to integrated pest management strategies for multiple licensed producers in several states. His background includes collaborations with Lost Valley Education Center, The Amah Mutsun Relearning Program at UCSC, and Compassionate Care Research Institute. His diverse areas of expertise landed him at Phylos Bioscience, a company leading the way into the future of cannabis genomics and data-driven breeding.
