Alex Revich has been working in the legal medical cannabis industry since the newest regulations began 4 years ago (called the MMPR –Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations) and was there at the formation of the Industry association – CMCIA (Canadian Medical Cannabis Industry Association).
During this period, he has spoken to thousands of patients with various conditions and hundreds of first responders with ailments like PTSD and chronic pain. Alex has worked with Veterans Affairs Canada on coverage of cannabis and vaporizers. He also is a big proponent of not smoking cannabis and also alternative forms of use. With a strong passion for helping patients and encouraging research, Alex was chosen to be the Executive Director of the CMCIA while he was continuing to help MedReleaf’s thousands of patients and clinic partners. Since he left Medreleaf at the start of 2017, he has focused on cannabis education and taking his experiences around the world to help other emerging markets.
Alex has represented Tikun Olam in Canada for over 3 years and has worked on projects in the United States and Germany. He is putting together a cannabis education program called “Cannabis IQ” which he is bringing to international markets.
