    Greg Herriott has 24 years of experience in pioneering the industrial hemp and medical cannabis industries in Canada. He launched Hempola® in 1995, after 2 intense years of research. This product line was the first of its kind in Canada. Since then, Greg and his company have numerous milestones and hemp inventions to their credit. After 9 years of licensed production of medical cannabis, starting in 2006, Mr. Herriott was the core founder of Mettrum Health Corp. This publicly traded company recently merged with Canopy Growth Corporation, thus creating the largest cannabis-focused entity in the world with a $1.6 billion dollar market value. Greg Herriott will discuss the many virtues of hemp, covering topics ranging from food, to bio-fuel, to fibre, to medicine. He will also describe his view to future and how hemp will play its role.
